Ostrich steak

Ingredients
  

  • 1 2 (200g each) Ostrich Steaks
  • 1 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 2, minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1 1 tsp, chopped Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 1 tsp, chopped Fresh Thyme
  • 1 To taste Salt & Black Pepper
  • 1 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 As desired Optional Extra Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Pat the ostrich steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  • Add garlic and butter in the last minute of cooking, basting the steaks.
  • Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
