Ostrich steak

Ingredients
- 1 2 (200g each) Ostrich Steaks
- 1 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 2, minced Garlic Cloves
- 1 1 tsp, chopped Fresh Rosemary
- 1 1 tsp, chopped Fresh Thyme
- 1 To taste Salt & Black Pepper
- 1 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 As desired Optional Extra Seasoning
Instructions
- Pat the ostrich steaks dry and season with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Add garlic and butter in the last minute of cooking, basting the steaks.
- Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
